National Account Sales Manager (Key Accounts)
Job Summary
PS TEC is a nationwide leader in onsite field service for the food, beverage, and packaging industries. With over 100 field technicians specializing in maintenance, automation, and packaging equipment support, we’re expanding our commercial team to include a high-impact National Account Sales Manager focused on growing revenue from major house accounts and new enterprise customers.
This role will focus on expanding business with PS TEC and NEX TEC’s top-tier house accounts, while also securing new national customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial or technical sales, and experience navigating multi-site corporate accounts in food, beverage, or packaging sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow sales revenue within assigned house accounts and strategic prospects
- Activate new plant locations and service lines within major accounts
- Prospect and close new national customers
- Promote all services: maintenance, automation, rebuilds, embedded techs, and training
- Collaborate with service and operations teams to ensure successful delivery
- Maintain CRM pipeline, reporting, and forecasting
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business strategy, sales, and a deep under-standing of market dynamics
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue growth and expand market presence
- Prospect new leads/new customers
- Identify and pursue new maintenance, operations, and automation opportunities in the Beverage, Packaging, and Food Manufacture segments
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries (Beverage, Packaging, and Food Manufacture segments)
- Build and maintain relationships with business partners to drive sales and long-term collaboration
- Understand technical requirements and propose customized maintenance, automation and engineering solutions
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations based on client specifications and industry standards
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including site visits, scope definition, and negotiation
- Collaborate with operations and field services and design teams to ensure feasible and cost-effective solutions
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s services, in operations, maintenance, automation, custom-engineered solutions, and service of NEX TEC
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the beverage, packaging, and food space
- Accurately forecast sales performance and report progress to senior leadership
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and promote company capabilities
- Monitor business development budgets, forecast revenue growth and manage resources effectively to achieve targets
- Lead contract negotiations with potential customers, ensuring beneficial terms for the company
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of business development strategies and adjust approach as necessary
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Foreign language is a plus
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, with proven success in driving growth
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Established customer base and network within the Beverage, Packaging, and Food space
- Significant beverage production line, and blow molding market and industry knowledge
- Strong technical understanding of the beverage, food, and or packaging industry
- Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
- Demonstrated experience in client acquisition, partnership management, and revenue generation
- Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office and business intelligence tools
- Ability to travel Nationally 60% of the time
Compensation & Benefits
- Total Compensation Range: $150,000 – $220,000 (Base + Commission + Bonus)
- Competitive base salary with tiered commission on new revenue (existing accounts + new business)
